2025: The Year of Great Opportunities Without Boundaries
As we welcome the New Year 2025, I want to remind you that the achievements of this great citadel of learning, which has turned envy to many, are spineless without your priceless contributions.
Indeed, 2024 was not without its challenges, but each and every person was intentionally united in making sure that Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), maintained her seat at that enviable position, ensuring her continued growth and excellence. “I wish you every grace needed to surmount life’s challenges this New Year. We made it through 2024 triumphing. 2025 will be a more successful and prosperous year.
Together, we have celebrated milestones, embraced change, and strengthened the values of “our living legend- Aare Afe Emmanuel Babalola, Chancellor & Founder: Aare Afe Emmanuel Babalola, OFR, CON, SAN, FCI.Arb, FNAILS, LL.D.hc, London, LL.D.hc, Unilag, LL.D.hc, Unijos, LL.D.hc, UNAd, D.Litt.hc, KSU, FKC (London)” – that make our institution truly bold and remarkable. As we step into 2025, I am optimistic and at the same time excited, for what lies ahead holds great promises and I am confident that, with your talents, hard work and determination we will achieve even greater heights.
I urge you to take your health more seriously this New Year as it is with good health that we can achieve so much more together. As “pencils in the hand of our Creator” let’s release ourselves more to God by being wary of harmful habits that could be inimical to our health.
Let us keep striving to cultivate a culture that embraces inclusivity in diversity, driving innovation, and upholding excellence in everything we do.
