ABUAD is happy to announce to the students and staff of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved a very unique degree programme for ABUAD known as B.Sc Social Justice. ABUAD continues to score first in modern global academic programmes that are meant for the 21st Century students.
ABUAD as an institution which is out to lead others in reformatory and functional education is the first and the only university that runs Mechatronics Engineering in West Africa. Again it has developed a special and functional programme in Social Justice and is the only university approved to run the programme in Nigeria.
Social Justice is a special course that is created to fill the gap for students who desire to study law but could not gain admission into the programme due to the restrictions by regulatory authorities.
B.Sc Social Justice is a special utility programme that trains students in core law courses together with relevant selected courses in Social Sciences. The graduates of Social Justice will also be bi-lingual by graduating in French or Chinese. This will enable the graduates to work in international organizations like United Nations, UNICEF, UNESCO, African Union, WHO, WTO, World Bank etc. They will also be qualified to work in Foreign Affairs Ministries, Embassies and other parastatals of the government, international corporations, non-governmental organizations and as policy consultants.
