CES INDUSTRIES, INC. Stocked abuad Engineering Lab with Equipments

Afe Babalola University continues to play host to men of good will, who like the Queen of Sheba in the Bible,  have heard about the giant strides being made by the young university whose aspiration is to be the beacon that will brighten the academic terrain in this generation. One of the most recent callers is no other personality than the President/CEO, CES Industries, Inc, Dr. Mitchell. B. Nesenoff who stormed the university to actualize the MoU signed between his company and Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti.

For those who have noticed, close to the entrance of Afe Babalola University, appears a gigantic Bill Board donated by the company to commemorate the work of well-deserved leaders in the world.   The Board was commissioned during the visit of Dr. Nesenoff to ABUAD by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sidi Osho.

The imposing board captures the faces of leaders with great minds; leaders who have succeeded where others have failed; leaders who have contributed positively to humanity in many strata; leaders who are willing to foster the spirit of oneness and sustain human-centred development; leaders who cannot be deterred by the “nay” voices around them and leaders whose pedigree should have determined their altitude in life; but would still achieve greatness notwithstanding.

These are three great personalities:  Nelson Mandela, former President of South Africa; Barrack Obama, US President and Aare Afe Babalola (SAN), the Founder/President Emeritus, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti.  It is a great honour to see our own Founder/President adorned with the other two leaders on the giant Bill Board. They were classified as the PIONEERS OF CHANGE.

In an interview with Dr. Nesenoff, he was of the opinion that the Founder, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Aare Afe Babalola, has the same mind-set with him. He confessed that he loves Aare Afe’s way of life, business ethics, life orientation and commitment to humanity.

The Vice Chancellor, ABUAD, who chaired the commissioning exercise, later led the group to the Engineering Lab of the University for the commissioning of Laboratory equipments supplied by the CES Industries, Inc.

Prof. Sidi Osho welcomed everybody to the Lab and described the MOU signed by ABUAD and CES Company as the beginning of new development which will enhance effective learning standard of the students.

Dr Nesenoff thanked everyone present during the commissioning exercise, adding that it was the beginning of better things to come.

He later sensitized the Engineering Lecturers on the use of the equipments. He advised that the Lecturers should not only learn how to use them; but understand what to do when things go wrong.

The Provost, College of Engineering, Prof. Owolabi thanked the management of  CES Industries, Inc.  for applying themselves creditably to the terms of the MOU between the Company and ABUAD.

The Director and a member of the Board of Trustees of ABUAD, Prof. Orubuloye, implored the CEO of the Company to provide international or local experts that would assist in in-depth training of ABUAD Lecturers for more effective use of the equipments in the Lab.

Mr. Kinsley, a Staff of CES Industry, said in his speech that CES Company promises to give two best graduating students in Engineering with First Class Degree automatic job placements at CES Company across any of their company formations in the world.

Dr Nesenoff said students will be allowed on Internship programme in any of their company locations with the consent of the University.

The Vice Chancellor, on behalf of the Founder, thanked Dr. Nesenoff and Prof. Owolabi, the Provost of the College of Engineering, for the new innovation they have just pioneered.

Prof. Ajisafe, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, ABUAD, gave the vote of thanks by first showing gratitude to God Almighty.   He also thanked the CEO of CES Industries Inc. for his involvement in actualizing the VISION and MISSION of ABUAD.
