National Instruments (NI), Texas, USA to partner with Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti on miniaturized technology scheme.
The move was to ensure that bulky and expensive laboratory equipment are compressed into a single unit, using silicon application via Labview software. A presentation of Mechatronics Engineering Applications by an official of NI, Mr. Andrew Watchorn, took place. It addressed the areas of Robotics and smart wheel chair applications. Possible collaborative efforts with ABUAD in the areas of training students and staff for Labview software usage was discussed.
