The Ewi of Ado Ekiti, His Royal Majesty Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe (Aladesanmi III), along side with the Ewi-in-Council has visited the Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti to appraise the level of development that is currently taking place in the institution and see how it has improved job creation in Ekiti State and Nigeria at large. The Founder of the University, Aare Afe Babalola, in company of members of the management team of the institution conducted the team round the impressive facilities and physical structures of the University. In the interview with one of the members of Ewi-in-Council, It was disclosed that the ultra modern College of Engineering that is nearing completion would attract Nigerian students who are interested in Engineering courses based on standard and its unique facilities. The provost College of Engineering, Prof. Owolabi, identified collaboration of FESTO with ABUAD as a unique one that as never happened in any Universities of the world. According to him, he expressed his happiness being a member of staff of the university with the out-standing equipments and facilities that could enhance effective learning in the College of Engineering. The Kabiyesi, with enthusiastic gesture rounded-up the visit by rendering prayers to God Almighty to grant the Founder more strength to accomplish the task ahead of him. He also prayed for the management team and staff of the University for their support since its inception.
