The Honourable Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development, Prof. Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah visited the Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti during its 2nd edition of the University Distinguished Lecture. The Honourable Minister was the Chairman of the occasion which took place at the University’s ultra-modern Bimbo Owolabi Hall. In his speech the Honourable Minister commended the University for performing creditably in various fields of agriculture in the short period of its existence. He promised to set-up a committee to work out modalities through which the Federal Government would sign a memorandum of understanding with ABUAD to promote crop and animal production in the country which the University has favourably embarked upon.
