HARVESTING COMMENCES AT ABUAD FISH FARM.

In its determination to provide the missing link in food shortage, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), has commenced the harvesting and sale of fresh fish, brood stock and dried fish from some of its 275 fish ponds in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital.

The Founder and Chancellor of the university, Aare Afe Babalola, SAN, said when the three phases of the fish farm become fully operational, the university will be selling no fewer than 300, 000 fishes, Monday through Friday, every week.

The harvesting and sale have been attracting patronage from all over the state and some adjoining states.
