The University Sports League (USL), a private sector initiative, licenced by the Nigerian University Commission to provide sports development programmes in all the 104 licenced Nigerian universities in the country, has on Saturday, July 2, 2011, named the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Afe Babalola University, Prof. M.O. Ajisafe, the Chief Resource Consultant to the University Sports League project in Nigeria.
Prof. M.O. Ajisafe is the first Deputy Vice Chancellor, Afe Babalola University; importantly, the first Professor of Sports Science and Physical Education in the Country. He is a member of the leading professional bodies in Sports Science both in Africa and across the globe.
