As part of its efforts to ensure that its students don’t trot the streets looking for white collar jobs after graduation, the authorities of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), has approved a one-day seminar for its final year students in the Colleges of Law, Social & Management Sciences and Sciences in this regard.
The seminar will take place on Wednesday, March 19 at Owolabi Hall on the university campus.
To be run by Messrs Sola Ogunsola Foundation, the seminar titled ‘Life After Campus’, will train the final year students on how to be employable by acquiring basic skills, the right attitude and necessary work ethics required to add value in any organization in the global market.
A statement by the Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Yekeen Lawal, urged the Provosts of the concerned Colleges to ensure that their students report timeously for the all-important seminar.
