Volleyball is a sport played by two opposing teams. Each team is made up of six players. The players use their hands to play the ball (with the exception of the palms) back and forth within the court area over a high net. A team is allowed only three touches of the ball before it must be returned over the net. A point is won when the ball touches the ground. Volleyball has evolved into Beach Volleyball, Beach aquatic volleyball, foot volleyball, indoor sand volleyball, sitting volleyball and many others.
ABUAD Volleyball Club (AVC) is a team of energetic, skilful and goal-driven students (undergraduates and postgraduates). Volleyball is a game of love and language of togetherness for the team. The club is known for raising champions with credible results. The student-athletes are highly-motivated to achieve outstanding results both in academic and other areas of life.
